Irvington Man Trespassed At Daycare Center With Drug Paraphernalia: Hoboken PD

An Irvington man was arrested and charged with trespassing at a daycare center in Hoboken on Wednesday, Oct. 30, authorities said.

At 11:45 a.m., officers were alerted that a man, later identified as Kevin Nguyen, had gotten into the playground area of a nearby daycare and was attempting to get inside the building, Hoboken police said. 

Officers recognized the suspect as Nguyen, and school employees told officers he’d trespassed on school property before, police said. A search incident to arrest located two glass cylindrical tubes commonly used to smoke and ingest CDS crack cocaine, police said.

Nguyen was charged with burglary, disorderly conduct, and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said. Nguyen was transported to Hoboken University Medical Center for evaluation, and then to the Hudson County Correctional Facility., police said.
